Our Selected Charity
Each year the membership of The Noble Krewe of Hathor selects a charity that will be the beneficiary of the Krewe's fundraising and publicity efforts for that year. The Noble Krewe of Hathor just completed a very successful year where Alzheimer's Day Services of Memphis was the recipient of the Krewe's efforts. We are thankful for the support we received from Alzheimer's Day Services and hope they will continue to support our efforts as we help other deserving local charity.
The Noble Krewe of Hathor has selected Memphis Oral School for the Deaf, as its charity for 2007-08. In the case of hearing-impaired children, additional resources are required in order to provide a sound educational foundation and an equal opportunity to succeed. Memphis Oral School for the Deaf (MOSD) exists for the purpose of insuring that these unique resources are readily available to those young children who need them.
With the combined support of the community and MOSD, young deaf children in Memphis and the Mid-South area continue to have the opportunity to learn to talk.
